Save the Cord Foundation is a non-profit organization created with the purpose of promoting cord blood awareness and education. This group has launched a strategic initiative called Next Generation: Cord Blood. The program is designed to improve cord blood awareness.
The Next Generation initiative has been developed to educate youth, expectant parents, and healthcare providers. Education is achieved through programs delivered in partnership with schools, healthcare facilities, and of course parents. Their mission is to present a point of view that remains impartial, balanced, and free from bias.
The more the population understands the life-saving value of cord blood, the greater the prospects become for future research and treatments. An ultimate goal is to have this awareness transition into greater adoption of cord blood storage through both private and public banks.
Securacell is proud to announce that we are one of their Cord Blood Education Champions as a result of our partnership. Through this partnership we will be doing our part to ensure the Next Generation is better educated!
